Een vertaalprobleem melden
Because it was the first couple of chapters in the original anime and not the entire arc. It did do the King of Thieves bit. But then skips the rest of the arc to go on to the battle that ends with the death of Bazuzo (however that's spelt "o)....
Depends really. I suppose much of what got cut wasn't really essential to just get the GAA Trilogy out. They've had two goes at it now, and both times its been a cut-up disjointed hotch-potch. Don't see why they can't just start from Chapter 1 and proceed normally like they do for every other Anime. It's little wonder why people like Studio Taka are running rings round "the pros", in terms of cohesion and quality storytelling.
That said, it was the anime that got me to read the Manga itself, so it did its job I suppose. But there's nothing that prepares you for the difference. The books are on a whole other level.
