Help massive fps drop...
Hello,

I've been trying to get 60 fps in this game but no matter what I do the game keeps dropping frames from 60 to as low as 30-35-38 I really don't get what's going on even on LOW...
Especially on that 5th level ?
I have no clue why this is happening my Cpu isn't a recommended spec but it's not even hitting 70% while the game is running so I'm out of ideas...

My specs are
Win10
Gtx 1050Ti
Amd Fx6300
8Gb Ram

Please if anyone knows anything any help is appreciated.

when you start the game go to the Config tool instead of the game itself, turn off those special little things that eat the living ♥♥♥♥ out of your processing power like AA and Ambient Occlusion, the default also seems to set the crowd density to maximum, you can change that to Many and still see 90% of the troops on the field infront of you.

I had the same issue, as i built my PC 10 years ago and still have my origional cpu, which is a phenom 2 x6 1090t. my gpu is okayish, i run this at 30-40 but im fine with it cause i know my comp is old.

Unfortunately I've put everything on low even 720p res before, but it made no difference :(

Strange, i play it on 720 as well, but the main reason for that is because my main monitor is a 50inch hd tv, and its a bit much to take in all at once, good luck finding a way to get it to work better, might just have to deal with it though.

open the game, alt tab to windows desktop and open task manager if your a total windows newb you might have to hit more details before it will give you the tabs on the top like "Processes" "performance" and the others. click the "Details" tab find the game process in that list. Right click the process and then put your mouse on set priority change it from "Normal" to "High" and exit task manager. This made a huge stability difference for me using an AMD 8 core 8350 with an AMD RX460 GPU.

Maybe you have the same problem I had: game used to run fine for some minutes, than huge frame drops no matter settings.

Turning game mode on did the trick (you can use program like razer cortex to get the same result). I suppose there was some conflicting program in background.

Otherwise you can try if anything else conflicts with the game shutting down all non windows service from msconfig.

1070ti with a Ryzen 2700x and I have the same FPS drops. Its the game itself not just your system.
