Is this better than the PS2 Berserk game?
I really liked that game even if it was kinda cheap in some aspects, but it was entertaining if this game is just one bit better than that i'll buy it.

You can play a game for 2 hours and refund it.

If you dont like warriors games then dont buy this, otherwise form your own opinion, this place is full of haters, trolls, and fanboys.

I actually liked the Dinasty warriors games, i mean is not my favorite genre but i can enjoy a game for what it is as long as it has solid gaemplay.
I can already tell a debate is gonna start up in this thread.

Nowadays people are like: You don't like what I like? ♥♥♥♥ off. You like what I don't like? Yeah ♥♥♥♥ off too.

People these days....

To be honest It's better to try the game yourself and see if you like it or not. Just stay under 2 hours to be safe, if you don't like the game refund. No loss for you.

no, in no way this is better than the ps2 game i recently played that one and i was blown away by the combat in that game, the animations and how the enemies react to your attacks this is a just a bland musou, pick it up if you're a fan

Really?

Aside the boss fights on the PS2 version, the rest of the game was a massive repetitive grindfest of literally walking in one direction killing unending amount of enemies over and over again. The only highlight of the game was the boss fights, but even then they all ended up being wait for counter attack change to play a small QTE animation over and over again.

Pretty much, i mean the game was not bad specially if you played the first one on ps1/dreamcast, now that was utter garbage, but the ps2 was really enjoyable but yeah it was a massive grind, the combat wasn't really good or anything because it all revolved around grinding exp and becoming OP, it was more like an RPG than an action game to be honest, the boss battles were fun, repetitive but really fun to play.

Now, can you tell me why this game is better than the ps2 one or if it's not why?

Wish I could, I'm still stuck in the office so I haven't even seen if the game runs fine or not on my PC. And i'm probably not the best one to ask either as I'm a massive Musou fanboy, and a musou game would have to be extremely bad for me to hate it completely ;)

I'm probably one of the few that actually enjoyed Troy: Warriors of Legend >.<

Well guys this is a musou, it's as repetitive as the ps2 berserk, i was just stating that in my opinion the ps2 berserk had better combat animations with dismemberment well done, which this one does only in frenzy and when it wants you're going to be killing endless waves of enemies to lvl up, this game just has better graphics

Exactly the boss fights were the only thing better than this version.

Berserk PS2 was basically walk/run in a line swinging your sword inbetween boss Fights.
It will cost you a PS3 to buy all the content.

How deep is the gameplay though, i want to know, for example i played Dragon quest Heroes and the "depth" of that game was enough for me to find it fun, you could craft stuff with items you got, you could level up and buy new skills or improve stats etc so you could build your characters the way you wanted.
