Overall, a solid game. Other reviews mention this, but it's worth repeating: this game doesn't necessarily stand out in any one particular category, but it is greater than the sum of its parts.

The characters and voice acting are generally solid. The art is well done, and though the style may not be universally appealing, it definitely grew on me as I played. The music is fine. The 'puzzles' were generally very logical and approachable - if you're an adventure game veteran, you may consider them quite easy. The story is nothing revolutionary (and maybe even dull, by some standards), but it serves its purpose well, and I think the setting(s) is interesting/unique enough to prop it up. I only encountered a few audio-related bugs near the end, and they didn't really impact the gameplay at all.

All that is to say, there wasn't really any one particular element that stood out as 'amazing' to me, and yet when I finished the game, I was still left with a sense of "Yeah, that was pretty good!".

My only relevant negative comment would be regarding the price; personally, I try to aim for $1 per hour of gameplay. I tend to play games pretty slowly too, and I only put about 10 hours into this one, which makes me feel as though $20 is a bit steep. However, a) this game clearly had lots of care put into it, which necessarily requires a larger price tag, and b) it goes on sale pretty frequently. I got it for ~$10, which is perfectly reasonable.

If you love these kinds of games, this may be worth the full price for you. If you're newer to the genre, perhaps wait for a sale, but it's definitely still worth your time.
