Ok, so I run the program, launch Arcanum, press alt+z... nothing. Alt+tab, click on alt+z in the program - still nothing. Am I supposed to edit something, dump the program into a directory, what?
Run the program, launch Arcanum, load your game, press alt+Z. This unlocks the option to manually modify the character like your own.
To do so, first you have to turn off the follower's levelling scheme. Go to the follower's characteer sheet, click the lightning+gear button above the magic/tech aptitude meter in the upper right corner and change the selected option from [follower's name] to 'no scheme'. Once this is done, whenever you level up the follower won't assign his gained points and instead you can go into his character sheet and assign them wherever you want.
Note that the option to manually distribute the follower's points isn't saved, so you'll have to run the program and alt+Z each time you play the game.
