Run a moonshine still with up to three friends, then haul the crates down dusty backroads before the law catches up.

Bootleg Buddies now has a page on Steam. It is coming in 2027 in Early Access, on Windows, for one player or up to four in co-op.

Everything is done by hand.

• Grow it. Sow, water and pick corn, wheat and potatoes.

• Stir it. Tip in the crate, shake the sack, stir the mash with the paddle.

• Fire it. Carry logs to the still and keep the fire fed.

• Haul it. Load the truck and take the backroads. The police patrol, set up checkpoints and chase what they catch.

Leave the tarmac and the mud takes your speed, and your barrels. Bring a winch. When the crates are sold, the money gets washed, the crew's Bank grows, and you buy better machines and bigger places to run them.

It is a one-person project, and it is not finished. The core loop plays from the field to the delivery, and I am still polishing and tuning it. The store page lists what is in. Expect rough edges.

I will post here when there is something true to say: what changed in the game, and real milestones. No filler. If a month has nothing worth saying, there will be no post.

A still wants three friends. If you are looking for a crew, or want to tell me what broke, come to the Bootleg Buddies Discord[discord.gg].

Thank you for being here this early.
