Unused campaign posters

I came across a article last year, that I recently stumbled across again that mentions and shows posters for campaigns that were planned to be in L4D1. This is the article:

I can't help but think that these posters are fake, but the article mentions that these posters are seen at a Valve game artist's online portfolio. Does anyone know whose portfolio it is? I've searched and found nothing and I have not seen these posters anywhere else. Have anyone seen footage with these in them? Or any other place that shows these were actual planned campaigns?

If these are real, then it really sucks that they cut 7 campaigns (even though some of these resemble the L4D2 campaigns) So it would basically mean that the L4D2 campaigns Swamp Fever, Hard Rain, and Dark Carnival were supposed to be campaigns for L4D1.

Wow, at first I thought I will see some crappy posters made by weird kids, but I have to say that I'm impressed..I don't know if they're real or fake, as the quality is clearly perfect.

They were L4D campaigns, they were planned to be, everything that L4D2 has right now was actually discussed and planned for L4D1, but after some fool in Valve's team working on L4D said "Oh let's make a sequel with these features", things went to hell.

I highly doubt they were official posters. They look more like mid-quality custom campaign posters...

So some of you say yes, and some say no XD. Still didn't find this Valve persons porfolio with these in it. I will say that their quaility is pretty good (even right down to the shadows). But the same poses of the survivors is copied from existing posters, which is why I said I can't help but think these are fake. But if they are definitely real, I'd like to see more especially in game with the maps they belonged to.

That link is a window to an alternate universe where L4D2 doesn't exist, and those maps were updates to L4D. Can I break that window and go through?

Let's face is, Valve still doesn't give a S-H-I-T about the first game. L4D2 has a second download called Left 4 Dead 2 Beta, which contains linux support and crappy mutation system. Oh my, you might as well count to 3 Valve, its your only hope for survival.
