Vicarious Reality Door Glitch

The door will not open to get into the unfinished ZEN area, it just makes a really loud grinding noise, I've tried restarting the game and restoring from an earlier save

I also tried enabling sv_cheats 1 and noclip but nothing happened

I don't know if you have solved this yourself or have given up, by replying anyways for others that have this problem.

The way I solved it was to just keep walking into the door while moving around and jumping. It should eventually open (the grinding noise continues while its trying to open, but stops once it opens).

I reloaded it to try it again once it worked to see if it was a one time deal or not and it worked again.

you can also turn on the dev console then type "sv_cheats 1" and then "noclip". That way you can noclip your way through it, and then type noclip again back to normal. It worked for me.

You can also type "sv_cheats 0" to turn cheats off
