Trusty Pack HD

Just bringing this to some peoples' attention as not many people seem to know about it.

There is a modder (or modders) that have created HD model and texture packs for Half Life and it's expansions, as well as a couple mods like Sweet Half Life, Azure Sheep, Residual Point and the like. They all look pretty great, and if you know a bit about file names and modding you can make them for other mods and swap out models between the versions too.

where would I put the downloaded files for the hd half-life?

How do you install Trusty packs? THere's no readme. The Half-life one works , but not opposing force or Blue shift. Do i install it into .\gearbox or .\gearbox_hd ?

Gearbox HD is where I put them. You may have to trawl through the mods sound files though as they replaced a lot of dialogue with Spanish or something, so you need to delete the voice files.

well i did install in .\gearbox_hd but the models look the same. THe one thing that DID change was the drill seargents language, to a language I don't understand.

What do i mention when it asks me what is install in the steam cloud?

EDIT: i don't know. Now its working. I must have extracted them incorrectly, the first time. Thanks
