BLACK SCREEN WHEN I OPEN THE GAME

so today i bought half life opposing force, i remember playing it as a little kid so i wanted to try it again... but when i open it just shows me a endless blackscreen :(
If someone could help...

Well I'm not a coder or anything but I'll try to help. I would definitely try what SV BOY said and use the -nofbo command, I looked into this briefly and see that someone had a similar issue of a black screen in Half-Life which is very similar and people recommended verifying the integrity of the cache, whatever that means, so if -nofbo doesn't work, maybe something they said in this thread will help resolve your issue: https://www.reddit.com/r/HalfLife/comments/1mich2/im_having_a_problem_with_half_life_1/

Hey yeah i already discovered a solution, its -windowed and the game opens in window mode,it works! ty anyways!! fr!!
