Half-Life: Opposing Force

Half-Life: Opposing Force

Soundtrack issues FIXED
I just found out if you own the original C.Ds of Opposing Force and Blue Shift, the computer reads the audio tracks and WON'T cut them off when you hit the loading screens (like in the Steam versions).

That's a known fact.

Sure, but giving the thread the title: "Soundtrack issues FIXED" makes it sound like he discovered the fix first like it was something new.
I had no idea this was known. God, it should have been better broadcast in that case. What a waste of my time...

Nearly every 90's FPS (and other games of that era) had CD music. Once the digital versions came out many games had the same issue with music and the definitive solution was always the same, popping in a CD. Quake had it the worst before the recent remaster. So yeah, it's known.

Honestly this and the "raw mouse input" stuff should be pinned in the forums so people won't make another thread about these.

Yeah, if some people could just spend an extra minute or two on these discussion boards, they would've easily gotten their answer.

It's mostly to avoid flooding the forums with the same subject.
Um... so I just played OpFor with my C.D and it didn't work, even though I'm sure it did before. What the hell could have caused it to not work?
