Steam's OpFor comes with the Blue Shift enhancement pack. There's a few other downloads out there that add detail and quality, but the game is old. That is you can improve the graphics with those other patches from FilePlanet, but there haven't been any other improvements since this game was being heavily modified way back when.

There's a mod called Opposing Force Redux, I think it was that anyway, that improved a lot of stuff, though some people didn't like the new sounds. Could be worth checking out.

Redux sucks balls, its a collection of skins and sound, some are good some are garbage, overall its bad.
