If FPS is higher than 72, the ropes start behaving strangely. If they're working properly, swing back and forth, like you'd expect.

Is there a reason you'd want to? I assume you have a 144hz monitor or something

Old games (and even some newer ones) act wonky at high FPS, really nothing can be done besides cap framerate unless mods or source ports exist to fix the behavior

You gain momentum by holding and pressing w and s and the when you have enough momentum you then press space or jump.:steamthumbsup:
