Die in OP, Respawn at the Start of Half Life!?
I have a save file in Opposing Force that I just came back to after a little while. I had saved at the point when you get off the tram car, you can pick up the .45 pistol, and 2 Vortigaunts spawn behind you. Now when I die and click to respawn, whether by the Vortigaunts, the crab-zombied guard around the corner from the vending machine gag, or jumping off the side, the game does the wackiest thing I've seen yet, and I can't find this documented elsewhere:

I respawn at the start of Half Life 1 as if I'm Gordon--just after the guard lets you off the intro tram and when you're between airlock doors. You'll first notice that your health and ammo HUD is gone; the door into the main lobby/reception area opens; many of the scientists and guards are walking around; no scripted dialog occurs (w/ 1 exception) and no one talks to you when you press E (So you can't confirm whether you're Gordon or Adrian); you can still set off the alarm under the front desk (prompting the only dialog, just "Hey"); you can still see the G-Man; the scientists who would normally be sitting at computers are all clipped in the air and running; and you can only explore that initial map-load's worth of space. You can't move backwards to the tram platform at the very beginning, and walking down the hallway to get your suit triggers a map-load that crashes the game. I can restart the game and the glitch executes again the same way upon death. I can manually reload the game to the auto-save, but the same happens upon death. I haven't tested whether the game fixes itself upon continuing and saving more, because I don't want to risk ruining the glitch.

Has anyone seen this before? I'll share my save file with others if I can figure out how and I'll follow up with screen shots too if there's discussion on this.

OP4 for is basically a mod for HL, if you type any map name to the console it will load it up. You probably did it a while back and forgot about it, the game autosaved and now whenever you die it loads that autosave, check your save files, you will certainly see an autosave of c0a0e.

I wonder why you can't load HL maps in Blue Shift...
an other bug that looks coming from a hd full .. if you load a save game that is in valve folder.. while playing gearbox.. that means the game was not able to write the save game files... the valve folder is used when the mod folder is not having the file.. like the model barney that comes with opposing force : it has "actions" needed for opposing force.. if you want to play half-life maps with opposing force : you have to use models from valve folders only.. the pak*.pak is also having models inside... [ in case you use old mods or sierra versions of hl..]
