give monster_(name of the npc here, you can find it online somewhere.)
do not try to spawn npcs that cant be found in the part of the map you are into.for example,a gargantua in the beggining of the game.
Using the known sv command line to introduce cheats and then we want more; so we use impulse commands like the infamous Grunt-o-matic or impulse 76 (warning npcs spawned are HOSTILE even in HL:OF.
So I found this
https://www.ign.com/boards/threads/opposing-force-spawning-armed-different-grunt-models.452716540/
He is correct, the give command works and it does create a friendly npc (medic and torch/engineer cause crashes).
He is also correct that they are interactable and function just like normal friendly Marines.
Sadly he is correct on this last part too, they are unarmed. Fully-Totally-Insanely gunless.
Now I am stuck, also the command give monster_human_grunt_ally spawns them INSIDE you so if you want to get some more Marines in a fight you need noclip turned on (they still have no guns though)
Help solving this mystery would be amazing!
You cant spawn an npc that isnt included in the map.Example, youcant spawn a zombie at the very beggining of the game. That ends up crashing the game
If they spawn inside you,use NOCLIP in the console to get out free
yo know that?
