Creature Lab 2 now has an official Steam page.

A lot of work is already behind us. The new lab is slowly coming together, the first creatures are taking shape, and the mutagen is finally doing something more useful than breaking glass. There is still plenty left to do.

In Creature Lab 2, you will study DNA, experiment with chemicals, create mutagens, and grow mutated limbs from biomass. By combining body parts, mutations, and stats, you will be able to build creatures for specific jobs.

Fast scouts. Quiet infiltrators. Heavy defenders. Or something that probably should not have survived the process.

You will send your creations on missions around the world to recover bodies, biological samples, and chemicals for future experiments. Back at the lab, they will help with everyday work and defend the facility when the authorities eventually find us again.

We are currently aiming to release a playable demo in early 2027, with the full game planned for Q2 2027.

These are our current targets, and they may still change as development moves forward. There is still a lot to build, test, break, and rebuild. For now, you can add Creature Lab 2 to your Steam wishlist and follow the game for future lab logs.

The first experiment is out in the open. The next one is already growing.
