Factions in this game?

Which factions are available to play in this game? Also smaller ones like Denmark, the Netherlands? Or only the bigger ones?

Hello,

There are currently 14 playable factions. Scotland, Ireland, Burgundy, Austria, Bohemia, Papacy, Venice, Aragon, Portugal and Granada, England, France, Spain and HRE. There are plans later on in development to add additonal factions.

Thanks for the answer, i do hope you add more because you can hardly make a historically accurate game like you claim to have without factions like those..

Seach the forum for Factions, you will see some discussions on the other factions. I think there are plans for 14 more, at some point. We need to finish adding in core game mechanics, and current faction items before we start adding a bunch more. Hope you understand!

Good choice of starts factions

I find it annoying that total wars seem to give so few start factions then add them all as DLC
nice to see you give plenty of choice here

Yeah wanna be sure we avoid these pitfalls. Though as part of this - we will need top push all these additional factions over current 14, as an update closer to or even after the release.
