Any cheats and/or console commands?
Hey guys,

Bought the game. Love it. Ridiculously awesome, can't wait to see how it develops further.

However, me being a massive RPer, I'd love to have some sort of "Endless Defense". Usually, in other games, you can achieve this with cheats, depending on what you do.

Having said that, I've googled and whatnot, and it seems there are literally zero cheats for this game, and the only Trainer is those scammers at CheatHappens, whom I'm not giving a single cent to. Hell, not even Cheat Engine works, in regards to anything.

I've read that developers were thinking of adding some sort of cheat codes a long time ago but haven't found anything recent.

Is there anything AT ALL out there? Anybody? I can't be the only one. I would severely appreciate it.

And yes, obviously, I am asking for Single-Player.

I don't think anyone needs to cheat. The game really isn't very hard yet, even playing at Hard/Hard difficulty level.

Thanks but I really don't need your opinion, and it clearly seems like you didn't read what I typed.

Why do people think others want to hear this when people ask for cheats? Sheesh.

They have talked about console type commands and for single player thats fine
(can't find the forum post on it so was prob a while ago)
plus "cheats" can work both ways as in total war where without using AI cheat boosts the AI wouldnt stand a chance in some of the titles
As long as player boosted cheats disable the steam achivements It's a good idea
who cares as long as it sells more copies and gets more playing

Can any devs comment on this, please.

Sorry for the late reply, and yeah I can confirm that will be including limited cheats in the final version of the game, but not at this point. Cheats will disable achievements, and it`ll be an option to turn on cheats in the Options menu. We will include chats for: resources, leveling up units, changing weather, speed up and slow down the game (speed cheats will only would work on good PCs)

Hello,

I appreciate the reply. However, I have to ask... Is there any chance we can get these console command cheats before the final version of the game, since that could very well take a long time?

Sure thing - will consider adding them sooner sometime this winter.

Much appreciated indeed.

And actually there are already trainers that give resources. We don`t support or endorse using these, but you can just google and easily find them. Keep in mind we do have a scary (but mostly fake) warning about using them, once their use is detected by the game.

CheatHappens is something I will never pay for. Paying for games is understandable, but paying cheats? I don't waste money like that.

The only reliable websites are CheatHappens(not paying though), MrAntiFun and GameCopyWorld, anything else and you risk getting a nice virus. Unfortunately, only CH has anything, so here I am. I've asked for a Cheat Table from Cheat Engine as well, but it is taking a long time, assuming anyone is even doing one.

Which brings the question, why make it hard to cheat with CE? Every time I try to use CE for resources, the numbers are all over, and none are accurate, makes it impossible... To me, at least, since I don't have any knowledge of how to actually "create" cheat tables.

I'm well aware of this. It's not my first rodeo.

Any update on whether the Devs will be unlocking the console commands for offline in the current versions of the game? It would be much appreciated as there were some scenarios I wanted to try and didn't feel like grinding for all the silver and tech resources again in a new game to try them out.

Lmao, of course not. You really think these guys give one single ♥♥♥♥?

Huh! Give the devs a break. They appear to be working really hard on perfecting what is still an early access game. There are a number of issues within the game that are not working correctly that act as cheats already. (Take the citizens mood for example, you can set tax at 100% and it has no effect). The number of devs can be counted on one hand and therefore their time has to be prioritised to what they might regard as more important issues. Konstantin took the time to reply to you ( as the devs seem to do to most posts) and advised you it is planned for the future and where you could get cheats outwith the game.
So YES! I really think these guys give one single ♥♥♥♥
I don't really care about your white knighting, tbh.

A lot of people are asking for a very simple feature. It literally requires almost no effort to implement this, trust me I know.

The excuses are just tiring. Implement it now, not in 20 years. I don't know when you people will get out of Early Access, IF EVER, and I certainly have no intention of waiting until you do just to implement simple cheats. I'm sure many are in the same boat.

Nevertheless, don't expect anything. I already uninstalled a long time ago, and have no plans on reinstalling, or getting any friends to even look at this, no matter how many sales they have a month. (Desperate)
