*Spoilers* A Polite Conversation
I'm replaying the game again and one thing I don't understand is the second (?) secret room where you find the computer. You engage in a conversation where someone (?) tells you you've failed the Turing Test and that you're a robot. At some point you even lose control and type answers that are completely different from what you might have been trying to type in the first place. I think this is too early a giveaway and serves to reinforce my disappointment at Ava not being able to bring up with TOM her discoveries throughout the base. I can only speculate that the one on the other end of the computer was Sarah, trying to warn Ava that she was being controlled. In order to do that, she (somehow) took control of Ava through her implant and had her type those lines.

It still doesn't make complete sense to me. What do you think?

Might be worth taking the spoiler out of the subject :P As this is an optional puzzle.

I thought the title didn't contain any spoilers as its the content of the conversation itself that is relevant. What would you suggest instead?

EDIT: There, that new title isn't a spoiler I hope?

"This reinforce my disappointment at Ava not being able to bring up with TOM her discoveries throughout the base." I agree that was a little frustrating. THere was so much potential for a Noblebright ending instead of this old predictable 2001 odyssea ending.

Some other played have said they spotted someone walking somewhere around that chamber. So yeah, it would make sense if it was Sarah. But then why would Ava write these exact lines?

(I know these rooms are optional.... But who cares about Doylist reasons? it's more interesting to reason in a Watsonian perspective, right? ^^)

But the notes on the implants say straight out that they don't allow actual control, they only allow Pavlovian influence. But influence is not the same as control.
