Never tried it myself, since the default graphics settings look very nice to my eyeball.
This is a know workaround for many UE3 games as well. Tried it myself, and it worked perfectly. If you want no cap, I believe you can simply set "bSmoothFrameRate" to "false."
I'm not sure how the devs aren't aware of this. It's an incredibly easy fix, no console workaround required.
