No subtitles in dialogues

Even with the subtitles option ON, I don't see any subtitles during any conversation or dialogue. Please help. Is it because I'm running it in 1920x1080 fullscreen windowed?

Found this in BaseEngine.ini:

Line 50 SubtitleFontName=/Engine/EngineFonts/Roboto.Roboto
Line 55 bSubtitlesEnabled=True
Line 56 bSubtitlesForcedOff=false
Line 1644 bSubtitlesEnabled=True

According to this the subtitles should be activated.

*facepalm* (I knew someone would answer that.) Yes, we all know. Nobody is talking about audio records subtitles, hence the topic title and original post.

thank you for the information. i´m not a native english speaker and can´t understand the audio logs very well and was wandering why there are no suptitles even though i activated them in the menu. so i don´t have to search longer :)
