Xbox one controller issue
So early in game there is a moment when you need to press RT+A and when doing so nothing happens. I've tried many combinations said online but none works. Steam page says full controller support but that's probably only XBOX 360 and not X1 controller. You really should fix this because these kind of games are not meant to be played with keyboard and mouse.

The game swaps the left and right triggers for some reason. RT+A is actually LT+A. Really weird...

That didn't work for me at all. It keeps saying RT+A but when pressing LT+A I still get game over.

thats more of a general xbox one controller + win10 issue that developers have to work around (seen a similar thing in the yooka laylee toybox). if it doesnt work for you yet, youll probably have to wait for a patch or use a different controller if you have one

Yea, I tried also different combinations like that LT+A but it doesn't work. And I don't have another controller so I just need to wait patch. It should probably come soon hopefully :) Thanks for answers

Also having this issue. I find the best thing is to fail it once and then remove the controller and use the arrow keys for the time being, but this is a major issue they need to fix. I almost quit and put in for a refund right there.

Ran into the same problem just now. Funny thing is, I've already beaten the episode, hitting each of the trigger + button commands. Hopefully the patch comes soon. Despite the games technical issues, I've been having a lot of fun with it.

Guys, you don't have to wait for a patch to finish the game. You can use keyboard and mouse if worse comes to worse. I can use my X1 controller and the keyboard/mouse simultaneously; I don't even need to unplug my controller when I switch to keyboard. The game will automatically switch to whichever one you're using. Using left arrow + right arrow will get you past those RT+A quick time events. Someone said this is a Windows 10/X1 controller issue. Well, I'm running Windows 7 and I'm having the exact same issue as the OP.

Thanks, I'll try to use keyboard to get past that event :)
