Bugged resolution (fix included) and demanding?
EDIT:
Resolution issue fix found, post four of this thread or here:
"Try going into the compatibility settings and disabling the display scaling on high dpi setting on the win 8+ executable."

Just started playing and noticed two things.

1. Even when I set the game to 1920x1080 and apply the setting it still looks jaggied and pixelated like crazy, doesnt matter if I turn AA on or off. Also, the monitor does not blink when changing resolutions so that might have something to do with it. It seems to be running in borderless mode even though there is only fullscreen setting that can be ON or OFF. It seems as if it does not change resolution whatsoever and is stuck at that default 1024x768 or whatever was there.

2. The game is apparently using 3 GB of VRAM from my GTX 970, is that normal? It is also quite taxing on the card as the temps go quite high, definitely higher than any other telltale game.

Do you have same experience? Any idea how to fix?

I have the same problem, though can't find any solution

I actually have the same Problem, at least the first one. I changed the resolution to 3840, but it clearly doesn't change to that, and I refuse to play the game before that is fixed. It's really annoying.

Yea I just tried and both win7 and win 8+ do this. I mean even the text is messed up and hard to read. Come on Telltale, this is bad. I wont play it until this is fixed :/ Why I even buy at launch and not later when its cheaper and with more episodes out? To have these issues apparently...

Try going into the compatibility settings and disabling the display scaling on high dpi setting on the win 8+ executable

Same. I can only go full screen on the highest resolution any other resolution attempt at full screen freezes the game's picture.

Watching this thread - is this an issue in Win7 only? I'm in the boat where if I buy this game, I expect to play it in 4k resolution.

I think he's saying to find the actual game .exe on your harddrive, right click on it, and then tweak some of the compatibility settings in the compatibility tab.

each episode its gonna be like 5 euros and the price at launch was 20,69 so no you wont get them cheaper.

Hi Keeyu,
if you are on windows 10 open up file explorer. go into the section of your hard drive where you have steam installed. find the folder titled "steam" then "Steam Apps" then "Common" Then "Batman Telltale Series". In that Folder There Should be an BatmanTelltaleWin8+.exe or something along those lines (it will look like the icon on the desktop). Right click on it. Go to properties, Then click the compatibiltiy tab. Under there you should find a checkbox marked as I specified before. Check it and hit ok. Then go into the game as normal.
