No Gamepad Support

Is it me or did TellTale not include gamepad support? My XB1 controller is connected and worked in GTA V just a few minutes ago.

You're right that it works, but for me it only works if I set the resolution to 1080. Any higher and the controller stops working plus the mouse is limited to a 1080 box (my resolution is higher native). It's OK, I love gaming (including Telltale) so much that I can live with 1080, it's not biggie at all. Guess you can say the fixed the controller support, but it's very glitchy for many people still

Yeah it varies a lot from PC to PC, nothing new there. I do believe Telltale are not as vigilant/caring as they can and should be, though. This kind of thing happened a lot with their releases

With TellTale games you have to make sure the controller is on before launching the game. If you are still having problems after that then run the game as an administrator from the actual .exe

Quite the oposite here. Xbone controller worked for all previous episodes. In this one. RT is not working at all.

Steam needs to remove full contoller support advertisintg on games that clearly aren't. You find out these games don't after you buy tthen and then have to chase Steam down for a refund. In addition, that a AAA studio like TellTale won't support all PC controllers is ridiiclous

Have to agree with every word, and I love Telltale Batman, it's truly great. No idea why they keep bungling controller support on PC, their games run perfect on everything from a C64 to Skynet

While I don't have controller problems anymore in Batman or even the new The Walking Dead (I feared we'd have to wait for another patch to fix that again.), I understand the frustration. They seem to have fixed it for the mainstream controllers. The game seems done now, so I wouldn't hold my breath for future updates if you still can't use your controllers.

A refund while very clearly stating your reason would probably be best in that case - though you'd be missing out on the game, of course.

The main reason I play these games with my controller is that the UI is just better/prettier. :D

Connect your controller before launching the game and the game will recognize it and will configure itself for it. It will not do it after game has launched for some reason. I tried this to play Batman Telltale with my XBox One controller and it plays beautifully.

This is actually caused by the Steam Input API, is not Telltale fault.

Disable the Steam Input API and the controller will work perfectly fine (it can only be disabled per game, on properties).
