uh...
I saved Wayne Tower..well went to.....cause you can accomplish a lot with tech . personally i would of liked the option to attempt doing both. Saving the Tower then going to the manor as Bruce..i mean given the slight operation in the Tower ............it doesn't seem like if he was at the top of his game which the fight with the Penguin seemed way sloppy compared to the batman in the previous episodes.
So in order to take down Harvey, Penguin and CoA, I need to be Batman, and Batman needs his resources. The tech is crucial, not to mention like the CoA and Penguin having access to the Batcomputer wouldn't just harm me, but the whole city potentially. Batman has the whole city tracked, wire tapped, etc. That information in Penguin's hands could like... destroy everything. Worse than Harvey's bombings.
So, I dunno. I feel like my choice is better suited to actually bringing down CoA and Harvey. I really wanted to go make sure Alfred was safe, but I'm certain that since he was told to go into the Batcave, he'd be safe there. Bruce can rebuild his house once all of this is over, lol.
So the choice to go to Wayne Enterprises seemed obvious. It doesn't do any good to save Bruce Wayne's resources when Bruce Wayne is basically useless at this point anyway. It's up to Batman and Batman will need every resource he can to bring the Children of Arkham to justice and eventually clear Bruce Wayne's name. Thus, crippling Batman seemed like a really stupid idea.
Really? damn from the previous "next time on batman" i saw Alfred holding a gun so my immediate thought was that he would be stuck in the manor alone trying to defend himself. i figured i was choosing between batman's tech or alfred's life so i drove to the manor.
Save Alfred, though Alfred never really dies either way (I don't think), you have no way of knowing that. Heat of the moment, you are saving his life
Help Harvey: You have the option to sort of help him completely slide off the handle.
Cons of saving the house:
Penguin is free and has potential access to your entire Bat computer, gadgets, and intelligence.
Which is more important?
My other playthrough is good law abiding batman and typical Bruce Wayne. I stopped Harveys support, I helped Selina instead of him, helped Montoya instead of him, made out with Selina and invited Lucius to stay at Wayne manor. As such it was an easy decision where to go. Lucius and Alfred were in danger, Harvey was going nuts and had to be taken down to make sure the citizens of Gotham are save so I did and it was great as a showdown. I even got to decide where he ends up, though I doubt that will hold up since it's not presented as a choice made in the end so, because this is Telltale, for some unforeseen reason Harvey will end up in Arkham even though I sent him to Blackgate. I sent him there because that is what law abiding Batman would do. Arkham has ♥♥♥♥♥♥ security, no one can hold you there for long if you have power and it allows criminals to collude. Blackgate is a high security prison and Harvey is a mass murderer and once he is sentenced no lawyer will be able to get him out of there anymore.
This whole episode was a joke and lacked any substance and it annoys me to no end that after walloping the ♥♥♥♥ out of him in a matter of 48 hours twice, Oswald is alive and even conscious. Apparently Bruce Wayne beat him half to dead, yet there he is with two black eyes and a couple of scars. Then Batman beats the ♥♥♥♥ out of him, crushing his leg and knee and should have opened every old scar there is and then I stepped on his ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ head making sure he has brain damage and is severely concussed. I then hang him upside down causing more brain damage yet he is still ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ conscious and not even in agony... he is suspended from his leg, which I crushed, probably rupturing everything in there. I gave him at least 6-8 concussions to his unprotected head in 48 hours, I beat his liver and other inner organs when he was thoroughly unprotected... are you kidding me that he is still talking??? Hell Falcone was in critical condition and on a morphine drip after having a stab wound inflicted on him in an area with no vital organs whatsoever and you are telling me that a guy who got his head bashed in dozens of times, his head stomped, his liver beaten, his nose and probably jaw broken and his knee completely shatters is not a groaning mess of pain??? Jesus that is such weak ♥♥♥♥ that it makes me want to vomit.
i agree....that it was lack luster an even i was sitting there wondering "why" he was left hanging upside down. an concious.
i mean his leg as broken as it is , isn't going to hold his body up like that...the skin would be the only thing holding the leg on with the way it was broken so i would imagine it would gradually tear an well..with that height buh by penguin. since hish ands were tied behind his back.
all in all the story of epi 4 was a disappointment , don't get me wrong i was able to over look a lot and still enjoy it somewhat but...
i expected a lot more.
I have to admit, that Bruce Wayne was too f***ked up to save at the start of this episode so I went full Batman with my choices. Felt too much like the generic Emo-Era Spiderman stuck between a normal life and superheroism.
but when your playing in the first instance you don't know that.
Also you don't say..or atleast when i played that wasnt what was said it was
"Make sure they don't find the cave" . basically. which means Alfred probably wasn't hiding. though in most stories Alfred is quite capable.
They flat out said that Harvey's mind would only get worse in Blackgate, meaning that his condition would deteriorate until the Blackgate officials determine that he's too dangerous and mentally unstable for them, so they send him to Arkham where they think he gets better treatment.
Sending him to Arkham is probably the best thing to do if you are trying to save Harvey because at least he'd enter Arkham as-is and not worse off after experiencing prison.
