It's because if we're breaking the Batman mold anyway, I like my Batman when he's striped down from all of his tech and he's just going raw street vigilante with brains.
Doing things the old fashioned Detective Comics way before the Bat computer did all his thinking for him.
1. Alfred
2. Helping Dent just a tad bit more from falling off the wagon.
Oh well, in anycase the ending seems to imply Cobblepot doesn't get access. You're just going tech blind in Ep 5. if you choose to save the manor.
Just the way I like my Batman.
Got a stupid flashback from Arkham Origins when the choices popped up.
People who played it should know what I mean.
I thought that is way more urgent and dangerous than protecting a house. As for Alfred, I have high confidence that an unbreached, working Batcave could protect him.
I feel you. I got the same flashback. And this time I dont even have a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Shocking Glove to save Old Good Mighty Al.
I choose save the home.
Even batman is tech blind. He still got his skill (Even in this series he is a rookie status), his best strategist & consultant & butler, his GCPD ally (I saved Montaya and keep a good relationship with Jim). Not sure catwoman will help or not though.
I still believe what makes Batman a hero is not the tech, its because his mind and skill.
Well...but in telltale version I am not sure though...since they didnt give any lead of Ra'l Sha Gul HAD trained him before becoming batman or not.
Each with its own consequences that will effect the outcome of the game.
On the one hand, if you choose to go to Wayne Manor, you take down Harvey's corrupt administration and remove him as a threat to the city, keep the Wayne fortune intact, and allow Batman to focus on stopping the Children of Arkham. This comes at the price of Penguin retaining control of Wayne Enterprises, Batman losing his advanced technology to the CoA, the Batcave getting shut down, and the city government in shambles. Meaning if you save Wayne Manor, you free the city government, but strengthen the CoA, making them even harder to beat.
On the other hand, if you choose to go to Wayne Enterprises, you take down the Penguin and save your advanced technology, which deals a severe blow to the CoA, weakening them as a threat and making them easier to defeat. This comes at the price of Harvey successfully seizing the Wayne fortune and burning the Manor to the ground, crippling what Bruce Wayne can accomplish in public. It also means that Batman now has to contend with two threats, the city government (which is arguably more dangerous than the CoA considering how far gone Harvey is and how emboldened he must be by his actions) and the CoA (which can still recover from the loss of Wayne Enterprises and regain their strength).
Decisions, decisions...
It seems like the better move to help my loyal butler and family member rather than hastly trying to remove Penguin from tampering further with the tech especially when Bruce can set it on ice.
if you go to the manor, your tech wont work anymore. so if you took the cat claw, it might help save a certain someone.
if you go to the tower, your tech will still work. so if you let her keep the grappling gun, it might help save a certain someone.
what do you guys think?
