A new narrative educational game about Roma people's experiences with racism and discrimination in contemporary Czech society will be released for free on 22 October 2026. By adding the game to your wishlist, you will be notified on release day and help the game reach a wider audience.

A realistic utopia through the eyes of Roma people in the Czech Republic

What if racism had almost been overcome? Andre Miri Cipa / In My Skin takes you into a hopeful future, from which the three main characters, Robin, Vanessa and Marie, look back on painful experiences from their adolescence.

The game explores themes that remain relevant in Czech society, yet are still pushed to its margins:

• as Robin, you will experience racism during an ordinary trip to the grocery store,

• as Vanessa, you will face judgement because of your distinctive sense of style,

• as Marie, you will struggle to find a new home due to discrimination in the housing market.

The name Andre Miri Cipa means "In My Skin" in Romani and captures the core aim of the game: to let players see everyday reality through the eyes of those who face prejudice and exclusion. In doing so, it offers space for understanding, empathy and reflection.

The characters' stories are based on the findings of participatory research conducted with Roma people. Andre Miri Cipa / In My Skin therefore reflects real experiences and can also serve as a tool for teaching and discussion in schools and educational institutions.

The game was developed by both Roma and non-Roma creators. The Czech version, with lines in Romani, is fully voiced, and all Roma characters are voiced exclusively by Roma actors and actresses.
