Demo Update — Gameplay, Pacing & Controller Improvements

The journey from a tiny singularity to a universe-consuming black hole should feel like a real transformation. This update makes every stage of that journey matter more.

Campaign pacing — the hunt gets deeper

The path toward the Galactic Core has been expanded. The middle of the campaign was moving too quickly, so we rebuilt those encounters to make each tier feel like a meaningful step forward.

Tier 2 has been expanded. The Gas Giant no longer awakens immediately. Explore the system, consume its moons, and grow your power before challenging what waits beyond. The objective tracker and markers will guide you while the giant remains dormant.

Tier 3 has been expanded. The stellar encounter now features an additional Stellar Anchor, creating a larger challenge before you can break through. Destroy the anchors, survive the stellar defenses, and earn your way toward the next evolution.

Tier 4 has been rebalanced. The Prime Rival and Galactic Core now better match the strength of developed builds. Growth matters again — become powerful enough, then consume what stands in your way.

Major objectives now provide more meaningful progression, while smaller prey remains fast and satisfying to consume.

Controller & keyboard improvements

This update brings input methods closer together and improves the experience across devices.

Camera zoom is now available without a mouse wheel. Controller players can use D-pad Up/Down, and keyboard players can use = and -.

The controller ability layout has been updated. Dash is now LB and Collapse Nova is now RB, matching the physical layout of the ability bar.

Orbit Stabilizer now works across all input methods. Mouse players can use RMB, keyboard players can use Shift, and controller players can use D-pad Left.

Instant reform is now available directly from the run summary. Press Space on keyboard or Y on controller to reform immediately.

Warp prompts now automatically display the correct button for your active device.

System Threat guidance has also been updated so it correctly points toward the current objective in every tier.

The full game is now available to Wishlist.

The demo is only the beginning. The full game will expand the universe with more progression, more cosmic encounters, more upgrades, and deeper challenges.

Additional notes

Existing demo saves continue to work.

Campaign progress, Endless records, and profile records are preserved.

The challenge is fixed and intentional — stronger builds will still feel powerful, but objectives have been adjusted to keep the journey exciting.
