Dungeon Fighter Online
Gamepad usage
Hey everyone, i'm totaly new to this game. I just wanted to ask, is there a way to use controller/gamepad? i saw in a skill tree that every move got it own move sequence, like in regular fighting games, so i gues there should be a way to play with controller, bu t i could not find it. So maybe anyone could help me? thanks

I have seen a guy stream DFO using a PS3 or PS4 controller so I know its possible althought idk how to set it up nor what your choices are besides a PS3 and 4 controller
I really can't understand why this game is without gamepad support, joy 2 key does'nt work, better uninstall this crap from my hard drive.
You can use a gamepad, I personally use a PS2 pad connected via a USP converter, you just have to rebind the keys in the options menu. It'll take a bit to get the right layout, but it's a lot more comfortable than using the keyboard.
xpadder should work too
Use xpadder and go wild.

I run a soul bender (supportive class) and I've got all of my skills bound to action movements and 2 activation buttons next to my attack and jump.
You can also customize and lock the skill sequences for total control.
Works just fine, but the majority prefers keyboard and they will outright tell you so.
Ty everyone, there is a way to bind keys just go to keys menu n bind all standart moves to gamepad. only triggers does not work for me. It makes game more fun. Hard skill that are like :down, left,up,right X - i bind to LB n RB. Work awesome. I got another question. Can anyone explain to me how does devil strike works? It is avanger passive skill, i just dont understand how to execut it! please help guys...
You can use triggers with xpadder

Devil strike works while using other skills using z/x/c
I can't get Xpadder to work in DFO, I got it configed right because i've used xpadder before, but the buttons don't actually work once your in game at least for me. I have xpadder 5.7
compatibility mode maybe?

Run it as an Administrator... It works prefectly fine...
If there was one single thing that Nexon did right with this game, it was to have controller functionality included by default.

Everything I've been hearing is that people need to use outside programs to make controllers work with this game, as they aren't officially supported for whatever reason even though they used to be and worked fine.
While the game does have controller support, it doesn't support triggers or other axis other than joystick 1 on most controllers
Oh? This does have native controller support?

Can I still set up all my moves via combo shortcuts for combat stages and use my mouse for all the town/inventory stuff so I don't have to worry about the lack of buttons?

You can map these to controller buttons and joystick, triggers don't work which is why you use 3rd party programs like xpadder
Does it work with Steam Controller?
