I run a soul bender (supportive class) and I've got all of my skills bound to action movements and 2 activation buttons next to my attack and jump.
You can also customize and lock the skill sequences for total control.
Works just fine, but the majority prefers keyboard and they will outright tell you so.
Devil strike works while using other skills using z/x/c
Everything I've been hearing is that people need to use outside programs to make controllers work with this game, as they aren't officially supported for whatever reason even though they used to be and worked fine.
Can I still set up all my moves via combo shortcuts for combat stages and use my mouse for all the town/inventory stuff so I don't have to worry about the lack of buttons?
You can map these to controller buttons and joystick, triggers don't work which is why you use 3rd party programs like xpadder
