1. They solve the issue that steam account cannot buy CERA.
2. Update to the latest version like Korean server,
then,
it is not a dead game.
Still better then when it was run by nexon NA and being atleast 3 years behind.
On topic:
I do hope you know the game has been back since last march but only recently been added to steam. There is a few reasons that have already listed why the steam population isnt that big, but in no way reflects the games actual population.
Alot of the community didn't think steam would do anything but the ones who did where very vocal and lol looks like they where wrong. And or they them selves just wanted to be lazy and play dfo through steam buuuuuut u cant link accounts so rip them.
You see, a comparison with nexon is meaningless. I play DFO just because I use a X1 carbon which can hardly support most 3D games like WOW. So I compare it with Blizzard rather than nexon. Also, compared to any Asian servers, no matter Japan's, Korea's, China's, the population of American server is just a minor. This is not because it started since last March, but because American players prefer gun, ball and car games.
A.Joined a guild
B.Gone to OV
C.Tried PvP
New charatcers under level 50 I suppose would find the game "dead" as most hit level cap and are gearing up for endgame. 50 is when you start to see partys to grind special dungeons to level faster.
