Those who want to use the local options will do so. Everyone else for plenty of good reasons won't be able to make use of the local options and will require online. People are happy to pay extra to have it in the game otherwise you will end up like Overcooked only selling 5000 copies and not being played, that game got tons of positive coverage but didnt succeed because it didnt have online options....

Unfortunately the devs said that multiplayer wont be playable by more than 1 player per pc due to camera reasons(the camera would have to be too far). That could change if they added split screen but they will only consider doing it if a lot of people want it since implementing it takes a lot of time. I even suggested a paid dlc option for it. So if you think this game should have split screen when it goes online(somewhere at summer) just say so here!...

I have tried multiple controllers plugged in, but the "keyboard" option page only lists controls for up to 2 players and doesn't detect the controllers. How would I be able to get the game to detect the controllers and play more than 2 players?

Hello, This game is only listed as multi-player, but just checking if there's any way to play against AI, or if you do actually need other people to play against. Thanks.
