How to plant apple trees?

The tutorial says to plant apple trees using the Rega tractor, but it's not compatible with the orchard planter.

Additionally I don't see any option to sow apple trees in a field using machines, only hand tools.

I have my Rega running the orchard planter.. I think its a bug

Machines for trees will be unlocked later in the campain. You have to do everything manualy at first.

I have the machines for trees literally in my parking garage. The tutorial says to use machines. I tried planting them by hand but did not progress.

Figured it out after plowing, cultivating, and fertilizing go to plant the seed but click machine tab and it allows the machine to plant the seeds

Well that's...marginally annoying, especially since I'll have to plow and cultivate and fertilize the whole field by hand.

You choose the tractor, then the planter, then you have to add two more workers...i notice amny people missed the extra worker part. The two extra workers are vital, because they actually do the planting with the machine.

If you did all that, then it must be bugged.

I'm going to try plowing, cultivating, and fertilizing when I get back from work. That seems like the most likely issue.

I planted mine straight to the field. No plow or cultivation.

I did mine without issue on a 30x10 field and just fertilized it to 100% before planting no plow or cultivating.

Your field have to reach a minimum of 30 on one side to enable work by machines.

As said, the field needs to be at least 30m along one of its sides in order to use machinery.
Did you also try the 'autofill' option when picking machines and staff?

My field is 38x49 and I still don't have any option to use vehicles.

Mine wont let me use the Tractor Riga but will let me select the orchard planter. I tried manually planting the field but no success.
