so they just sleep in winter
You have to replant. They don't grow fruit again after you've harvested.
the other guy says I don't. Which one is true??
Well I've tried it with both apples and pears (which are both perrenial) and they didn't grow fruit back so it was either a bug or I'm correct.
they while grow, just wait when winter ends
Fair enough. Must have been a bug then as I left them for 2 whole seasons and no fruit appeared (after the initial harvest). I thought it was odd so thanks for confirming :)
Farm Manager 2018 isn't like Pure Farming 2018 where things grow in 3 days or less and constantly cycle. If you're lucky most non-greenhouse and non-berry/grass plants will give you 2 harvests per year from a single field, and a lot of those require replants, the only ones that don't are trees, bushes, grass, tomatoes and peppers and of that stack, trees are single harvest per year, maybe double if you're really lucky depending on how they coded the fruit growth for the tree.
2 seasons is a little longer than 3 days. I left them for a long time. :P
Edit: I meant 2 years, not just single seasons so apologies if that caused any confusion.
Watch your temperature. I had a bug where my temperature stayed at 2C for an entire year (I ended up exiting and reloading), and if it doesn't get warm enough, the trees won't wake up.
