i have 10.000.000.000 now !!!, this was easier than i thought, but no fun to play, maybe for some testing in free mode, campaign should be done the "hard way"...

First and foremost - I DID try it 'out of the box' without getting any help and after taking out all the loans I sunk into the red!! So, I then investigated how others had farmed. One link told me a chap was on his 4th restart!!! Buy windmills and greenhouses and forget fields was his advice! So, by looking for help I was already 'cheating' so I decided to investigate deeper to see if I could 'save' the game that had a day's play already in it? I [finally] found a way and it is the same solution as the Fishing Barents Sea to edit the .save files!

I think the level of cash is down to each player's personal choice? I would have quite happily taken out a bigger loan but you disabled it? I'd rather get a cash injection then restart the game but I did try it your way first... I just want to have some fun and it does provide some brain exercise and the bank balance is a very minor aspect for me!

Real life presents us with enough rules? When I get immersed into a game I just want to have some fun and this does actually fulfil that remit!!!

Because as far as I know (I follow the forum) @Rafał mentioned to some players about altering (cutting) income from wind turbines and the glasshouses. It will become a grinding ground. Some people are asking for it so I would love them to set various difficulty settings but I know it means a lot of coding so I do not expect them to do so.

No, it's not true, we didn;t change anything windturbines. And we didn't change glasshouses, only tomatoes and pepper as general which was needed. And there is an difficulty level and you can set up starting cash in free game...

I think the money cheat will be useful. At some point, I will have to demolish and rebuild a large warehouse because people can't get in it on a slope. Would be nice to get the cash back.

I couldn't agree more regarding difficulty levels! But as you are asking - sorry Rafal I will explain!


1. Save your game
2. Back up the savegame folder C:\Users\yourname\AppData\LocalLow\PlayWay\Farm Manager 2018\saves.
3. Rename your latest .savedata to .save [you will need to make it slightly different as another .save file of that name exists but you need the large .savedata one!
4. goto www.saveeditonline.com - this in online save file editor. You will see an upload button - click , go find your new renamed file and it will upload to the website. It is quite large and it takes quite a log while for it to 'unravel' it but be patient it will get there! Then you will see Wallet > Cash :(-1724.23) [my sad overdraft!] at the top.
5. Click on the numbers and it will open up an edit box - I personally stuck 5 million in mine but I actually turned my farm around and used only 1.5M which is interestingly the amount of loans disabled in the game!

If it helps - I personally I bought 12 windmills - each one gives you around 30k/month which means you can enjoy 'messing' about with all the aspects of farming without worrying about going under!

I also found beehives are good earners and greenhouses are good too - still messing about but strawberries and tomatoes in the greenhouses seem to give a good return and they don't need replanting?

Eggs and Milk are both quite good - so I now have 18 cows and have replaced my turkeys and ducks for chickens and I don't bother breeding!

OK I was wrong then. Sorry. I actually found the way to edit the save files and Yes the savedata files are huge but you guys could leave it like guys from IceFlames did with their Pure Farming 2018 (no hardcoded). Just need to test some stuff now.
