Calm down, please. When you write a book, create a movie, paint something, sing, develop a game you create some kind of experience by choosing target group, emotions etc. You can watch it, play it, hear it wherever, whenever and however you want but still, we as creators of this assume that you will at least try to experience it in the way we planned.
I really don't have any problem with that, if you want to use cheats - be my guest. I just asked, as a producer, why do one want to do this without even trying "standard" way.

Cheats have been part of it since Pc games are included

As I said we will add some cheatcodes if there will be such need :) For now we had to disable them because most of them shouldn't be used while playing with risk of breaking things.
To be honest I see only one cheatcode which could be helpfull for gamers - additional cash :)

Well it is the Steam forums. Its just the mentality here.

If I was a dev I would be so torn between the massive audience here and having to deal with the crazy toxic BS here when I was deciding whether to sell my game here or not. But they really have no choice.
