Legacy missions not starting and or not working? Help!!!

I have been playing this game for quite a while. I have two communities, which have both completely destroyed all plague hearts!

The first seems to have started the last mission but has then become bugged and will no longer let me complete the mission.

The second community wont even start the legacy mission after hours of playing.

Is anyone else having issues or knows a fix for this? I have done a fresh install of the game, and closed and opened the game + returned to menu and back. I've even tried moving them to a new town and clearing all the plague hearts again and it still does not let me start and or complete the final mission with both communities?

Does anyone know a fix for this? I've seen a lot of posts through Google with people experiencing similar issues but I have yet to see any fix for it.

Did you clear all the plague hearts? If you're not sure you can use the radio to look for them to make sure. You can try stuff like enlisting a follower, close the game and start again and see if it'll trigger.

It's possible you might have too many enclaves on the map, since this will stop additional survivors from spawning (which some Legacy missions require). Try and remove some of the enclaves by recruiting members or threatening them and see if the mission will pop then.

How the first one has become bugged? is It still bugged after restarting? If so try contacting support or just change maps and go bananas on the hearts on the new map as you should have the resources to do that rather quickly.

About the second one, as said above is probably for the number of enclaves on the map, get rid of a few of them and see if the mission spawn.

Thanks for the replies! I have maybe about 4 enclaves left on the map, I have already disbanded two. I can no longer recruit any more survivors to my community.

There is absolutely no more plague hearts, even after trying a new town.
It wont even let me use the radio anymore on either community.

I believe the first community I had, saved from years ago, got bugged when I completed the mission but nothing happened, I no longer had a pin point on the map to go to but it also said that the mission hadn't been completed after I had done all that it had asked me to.

Weirdly enough, both games I've had absolutely no sieges in my strongholds at all, even when making a lot of noise.

I started played this not long ago so not sure how old communities update but that seems weird.

The enclave limit (including things like the bounty broker) is 16, so with 4 you should have no problem with missions spawning.

What difficulty are you playing? I say this because in higher ones hearts are hidden and you need to scout them first. I'm pretty sure there should be hearts after changing maps.

The sieges now happens when you awaken plague hearts (new mechanic), if there is no awaken heart you can do all the noise in the world and nothing will assault your base.

IDK, I'd say double check the above. If your game is bugged then either contact support or send everybody to the legacy pool and start a new save.

This more than anything suggests your community is bugged. Send everyone you can to the Legacy Pool and spin up a new community.

it could be a curveball where you can't use the radio until it pass or you fix.

I am playing on medium difficulty. Perhaps I should try contacting the support team as you have all recommended, or trying to clear all saved data from the game as I cant understand why its happening with new saves also :'(

Did you ever find a fix? I’ve been on my save for 7 hours total and I’ve not got a single legacy mission, even though I chose sheriff at the very start

I’ve got a total of 1000 ish hours on the game and this has never happened before, at least not when I played on console :(

I was in lethal zone when this happened to me, I tried many ways to fix it but what worked for me was demoting current leader (builder) and promoting another survivor (also builder) in his place.
