What video card/system do you have?
what is the target frame rate the game is trying to run at?
But Random Restarts without a Warning have normal exact 2 Sources: Overheat and Power Supply Failing/Device with short circuit, nearly never seen any other cause in my years as PC Technican.
As another Source it coud be a Power Surge Shutdown, but if it is that than your BIOS will tell you so at the next POST, because the BIOS was the one who done it. got that happen to me for some time with XCOM2, thought first my PSU was failing, but in the end it was my refrigarator that got defect, causing my PC to do sayed Power Surge shutdowns because it hung at the same Powerline Phase.
I have my temps being monitored by openhardwaremonitor everytime i play the game to mka esure its not overheating, GPU temps rearly get over 50c and cpu temps rarely get ovee 60c. those are within normal limits and doubt its an overheating problem.
Trying to run the game at 120fps, i have a limiter set in nvidia control panel, all the setting i have them set at medium quality to see if it is an issue. i have tried reseating them, swapping out slots, etc. nothing is working
The pc is for sure not overheating, i have it all being monitored from software and physical temp guages, everything stayts within the normal limits, STOD2 is nowhere near my most demanding game that i play, so i would imagine the more demanding games would shutdown aswell right? how would i go about checking for power surge? my bios hasnt told me anything. its weird bc the pc just acts as if i pressed the restart button. no additional boot screen.. nothing.
Its an Option that the System recognices Power Fluctuations that reach unhealthy/unstable High or Low Power Delivery and does a Savety Shutdown than.
unlike the Power Connectors that you can get that only deliver Lightning Protection and smoothing out the Power Flow with a highdeep passthrough.
