my state of decay game is really bright red.
Ive gone through every setting. all of my other games are fine i want my money back. ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling

ive played this game a long time just recently bought it on steam. i know what your getting at but no it isn't in a red area its just a visual glitch.

Skill issue.

In all seriousness though turn HDR off and it will likely resolve your issue.

The bad colors are because the game is one of the few SDR games that are able to use Windows 11s "AutoHDR" function. Usually it makes the darks darker and the lights lighter.

In a recent update, November is when i noticed, the AutoHDR function was broken. Alien isolation also has the issue.

In the windows display>hdr settings you only have to turn off "Auto hdr" at least until windows fixes it.

for now Nvidias new app has a similar feature. But its not as simple

Go in windows, display settings, scroll down and turn off HDR. Play the game.

"But I want to use HDR" -- me too pal, turn it back on for everything else.
