How to jump out of a moving vehicle?

I only know of one way to get out, but that's when the vehicle is stopped. Can someone tell me how I can jump out of a moving vehicle when I hit a bloater?

The vehicle has to been moving at a slower speed to do that.
As the driver the car must be very slow or even stop for you to get out.

hold E and you jump out of the driving car.

dont stop the car when u hit the bloater while holding E to get out, it increases your survival chance

When it's a reguar Bloater, and if you have a character with lots of Health (like a maxed-out Endurance character with Primary Care and other bonuses active), just chewing painkillers while driving on is probably less dangerous than stopping and exiting the car because of the zombies coming after the noise. Of course, not recommended when max Health is lower than 60% of the full half-circle, or when the character is already injured.

When it comes to Plague Bloaters, even with Primary Care and other plague resistance bonuses active, I'd recommend driving a little distance away from the Bloater corpse if you can, then exiting the car, run 50 meters away from the car and then croach. Even if some zombies still target you, most of them will stop tracking you after a few seconds. Killing those still coming for you silently and while croached (for instance by dodging behind them then execute, or using a crossbow) will let you sneak back to your car once it stops fuming of gas.
