Option to remove special zombies? (Ferals)
I really wish there was an option to just remove ferals.

i love playing on lethal but when i have already tempted over 10 communities (with 3 random survivors) and only 6 of the 30 people i had died from other cases of running out of time for the cure, too many zeds, bloater clouts, juggernauts, etc. 24 of the other survivors all died to a feral. 1 feral even got to kill 4 members in my base during a zombie raid, ALL PERFECTLY HEALTHY PEOPLE TOO.

so is there a way i can play lethal without having Ferals? and just ferals? i want to playt on lethal still.

also on a side note: i worked my ass to unlock a red talon soldier to be added to my community, when i clicked the "yeah let me take you to our base option" a feral came in and killed him literally as soon as we met up.

There is a button in one of the menus to turn off special zeds, iirc.

someone shoud tell him that a lot of lethals lethality comes from the freaks....
but than 4 deaths from one feral sounds more like a critcal failure in other aspects, like equipment of all surviors and defense plan as a whole during a siege.

I too was excited to get my first red talon member and when we drove back to my base she was promptly ripped in half by two juggernauts before she got inside the gate due to survivor AI being brain dead.

Fingers crossed for my next happy volunteer tho.

Dunno why it would break the game to have a "follow me" and "stay here" option for followers, would be super basic.

A little genuine fun fact in case you did not know is that if you give a random survivor in your group a gun with no ammo, they still get to use it and shoot it.

i did that with all my survivors but that 1 feral that killed 4 was because 1 survivor had blood plague and was on his way to dying and just got fecked by that feral upon arrival, one other survivor was in the infirmary healing up so his animation to get up took forever and the other 2 actually came as a shock to me since one had a good pistol and melee as the other had a very powerful sniper rifle.

after that raid, i only had about 2 survivors left.

now the defense was so-so. yeah i gave my survivors guns and all but i did not have an watch tower, i used a fighting gym instead.

the siege though, we had screamers, bloaters, and 2 juggernauts but i swear when i was on top of this little car just watching my teammates, i just see one feral wipe 4 clean. 2 i was ok with.

if you give them crappy guns the magic bullets wont help them much..
and when you already admit that you tryed to cheese it for you active char by standing on a car it makes me wonder even more if you regulated the Zeds flow correctly.
there is no need to state that all 3 freak types came in, because thats normal at that diff. there is more the question how many entraces of your camp where open, what camp was it, and in what order you taken care of the freaks?

While it would be nice when we could select which zeds are included, removing ferals drops the difficulty considerably and i see the reason why players can't pick which zeds are in the game.

This doesn't turn off Freaks. What that does, is removing different looking zeds. E.g traffic cone armored zed. Clownface zed. Pirate hat zed etc.

Perhaps you could close the game when you are doing poorly with the survival, i believe the game doesn't keep progress during those moments and right after aswell. I had a siege in the DLC storyline, cleared it, took a break after, game did not save progress of the siege and it was an easy one. Second siege (same mission) started instantly as soon as i entered the game, this one was like 3 times harder, i had ferals, bloaters and screamers coming in, along with my cars being all spread out in the map around the camp for some stupid reason. The cars i put by the entrance of the camp are always being scattered around when i leave the game and get back in, usually 1 or 2 cars stick around by the entrance, everything else is scattered. The first defense was alot easier because the cars were also slowing down the zombies to some extent, no cars = zombies would simply rush to main entrance and start doing damage.
