Report a translation problem
Either we simply had terrible luck with whoever we connect to, or the multiplayer is just badly coded.
Obviously the inability to select regions or see ping or whatever is part of the problem. But I don't know what the exact cause of the issue is.
That's what I feared, that's a shame.
Theres a couple things you can do to improve stuff on your end. Your already useing ethernet thats the big one of course.
The other thing is look into ipv6 and if you have a "native ipv6" connection from your isp. ipv6-test.com is a good indicator.
if you dont have a native ipv6 see if your specific router has an option to enable 'native ipv6" or enable a "6to4" tunnel. Theres like half a dozen names for it depending on the router implemention.
The last thing you want to use is the windows teredo tunnel. Its basically terrible.
That's what it felt like to me at least.
But unless the computers below minimum requirements multiplayer wont be affected.
You could have a 4000dollar top of the line computer but if your latency is ♥♥♥♥ it wont matter. Thats for any p2p game really.
