What is this green skull thing?
I have an issue with my Food outposts that are not generating any food for some reason.

I am getting a Green Skull icon next to the message "+0 Food per day"

My food production has been nerfed but I don't understand why.

Seems like bad UI design - they can't simply drop some meaningless icon on the screen and expect people to understand it.

I heard somewhere else it was connected to Curveballs - but I have turned Curveballs off.

Will my food production come back if the Curevall finally expires at some point?

Such nonsense from a feature I didn't ask for, and have turned off.

Never mind - it was a Curveball that was still active despite being turned off. Killed a guy and my productivity came back.

I guess we know what State of Decay 3 will be like - might give it a miss if it's just chock full of curvballs.

I stopped playing as there is no way to turn off curveballs before starting a game.

And yes i know you can turn them off inside an active game, but if a curveball is active when you load in it does not turn it off so you are stuck with it.

Complete waste of time developing that feature, when they could have been working on a new map instead!

I agree with you.

I think they are not really developing State of Decay 2 - they are using it as a test bed for features they're considering for State of Decay 3.

It's astonishing to me that developers tinker with game mechanics until a great game is just broken. Dying Light 2 is pretty much ruined now, years after they released it, and you can no longer have the same experience you had the first time you played.

Why won't they stop changing games we paid for.

Fix bugs - fine.
Add Quality of Life upgrades - fine.
Add "OPTIONAL" game mechanics - fine.
Add new maps - great!

But changing core game mechanics without the option to fully disable them - I call b**lsh*t.
