Bugged at tutorial, can't talk to the nurse.

Get to the part where you're supposed to talk to the nurse because your npc got bit. Dialogue never initiates. Cant even talk to my npc like I could have before. There is no push E to talk.

I restart, even did a different pairing.

Same problem.

Tried everything in the area to trigger something. I even tried to walk up to her slowly so she wouldn't interrupt herself.

I guess God is telling me I shouldn't waste my time and go back to project zomboid.

I have seen this bug in the normal game. you have to restart the game and reload a save. Then you will be able to talk to them. Some times this means restarting a mission too...or even abandoning one as it might not come back after you restart.

Solved for me, in fact i already have a save in my slot 1 and when i want to start a new game on my slot 2 the bug appeared. So i delete my slot 1 and start a new campaign in slot 1 and no more problem...

I saved a gal, took her back to her enclave and tried to end the mission by talking to the head guy there. Didn't work. And so, I said screw it. I used the gal and another survivor from another enclave that I purchased for 100 points.

I attacked a plague heart. Killed it, but both of the peeps that I was with died. When she died it said I failed the mission. Ha.

I'm having this issue. Couldn't talk to that nurse in tutorial. Got to the open world, went on a mission as the builder, had to talk to the same nurse to complete the builder mission. I could not speak with her, I could not deposit my rucksack, I could not open the supply locker, and I could not check in my follower to the infirmary. If you needed a button prompt to do it you could not do it. I went to title screen and went back in game. It fixed the problem, but I was at the end of the mission and it made it to where I had to accept the mission and start over. I wanted to refund after that.

Introduction sequence...
When you're on your way escaping zeds that are all over you interfering with your introduction exit you'll see a red ladder you must climb.

Climb up ladder and talk to the officer at the top because you can't speak with the doctor until you do. After speaking to the doctor you must follow her instructions and you're on your way to Firewatch base in Providence Ridge.

Pay close attention to all audio inputs and get to work. The base you're going to already has an infirmary and the plague victim must be admitted asap. There's only room for one until you upgrade. The road ahead is full of priorities and decisions for you to address.

The conversation with the military man automatically happens and it's not skipabble. You have to climb the ladder to talk to the man. There's no way to miss either of those steps before interacting with the nurse. The game has a bug.
