running on Windows 10, game keeps minimizing, going to desktop !?

Is anyone else having this problem: I'm playing the game, and at random, the game vanishes and I'm looking at the Windows desktop. I can still hear it and talk to my teammates, but the game is visually gone, as if it's been minimized. I click the game in the taskbar, it comes back, I keep playing, and it happens again a few minutes later! Every few minutes the game gets minimized. I have no idea why. No other major application is running. I also keep getting "cloud sync error" in Steam for this game, don't know if the problems are related. If you've seen this and know how to fix it, please let me know!

Seems to be a Windows problem. Happens with Project Zomboid and Football Manager 24 also.

Never had that on Win 10....
Now i did update to Win 11 and still kinda the same but the game ignores the Disable fullscreen optimization for me but still works fine.
Check your DPI settings or force the app DPI instead from the compatibility tab.

Could be related to the windows notifications. My game always was minimized when there was a new notification by windows (11) or steam, so i deactivaed both and now it does not happen anymore.

Deactivate notifications in both windows and programs.
Don't have more programs running on your computer then you actually need.

I had this problem many years ago when me and my friends was using Skype for chatting with each other and it was fine for many years. Then Skype did an update which made games quit to desktop when using Skype. So we ditched Skype for another chat program and the problem went away completely.
