Achievements not working.

Ok so i haven't modified the game in anyway and just recently installed the game again after 35 updates, i picked up the game where i left off but seems i haven't unlocked some achievements that i know i've completed events too in game, is this one of those cases where the game has updated so much that i have to start a fresh new game as it may of corrupted the old file in some way to effect Steam achievement completion.

I have also had to remove the Curve Ball Zombies and turn the option off as i think this is the reason for the game freezing at some points. so i disabled that option and since i had no freezes.

Same problem, achievements not working since I redownloaded the game. Some people recommend logging out and logging back in to microsoft in the multiplayer tab but that didn't fix anything for me. I have currently played about 6 story missions in Heartlands and recruited a bunch of survivors that I should have gotten the achievement for.

Yeah i have killed a bunch of infestations and raised skill with a few characters, initially they worked because i have achievements from years ago and this was a cloud save game from way back when the game first released on Steam, i haven't restarted a new game so i thought maybe it was a could save bug but if you just started a new game then it must be a game issue with Steam.

Noticed this earlier, I've definitely done a good portion of the achievements since i started playing again. Defiinitely did the Armored vehicle one yesterday and have had all of the leader types by now.

It didn't click cause wasn't thinking about it till i saw this post, My last achievements are in 2021 : (

It ain't community related either, I started fresh when i returned and deleted all my legacies.

Seems the game hasn't updated since December 4th and Unreal hasn't updated anything for that long in it's editors, this game uses Unreal 4 which is an old engine because i'm currently using 5.3.2 and it hasn't had any updates since well before December, i have some issues with that version of the editor which has put my development of my own games on hold so i wonder if this game suffers the same issues.

I know Epic made cutbacks on Fortnite staff which could of effected development of the Unreal 5 engine, since 5 i have had issues with version 4 which the last good version was 4.27, i figure State Of Decay 2 would be running 4.27.

I found the fix, Log out of the connected Xcancer (Xbox) Account on the main menu then relog, It fixes everything. Its the same ♥♥♥♥ as Sea Of Thieves >;V Just more proof Xbox is cancer.

As stated before, this didn't fix any of the heartlands achievements for me. :/

Try starting a fresh community after doing it, Other than that dunno what to tell ya bud.

I deleted all my legacy stuff and all my prior communities so maybe it somehow thinks one of your communities or legacy characters is not legit and is blocking achievements? Wasn't able to do any at all till i did that.

I have restarted the community a few times now, ported legacy characters over and still no achievements are working, i can only try verifying files on Steam next but from what others are saying i don't think they are working so i doubt verify will do anything to fix the issue.
