Power and hydroponics
New player here, tryin to plan my base.
So, hydroponic thingy give me 3 food/day but I need water and power.
I claimed water tower and built a generator at the base. I started the generator and powered the base, including hydroponic.
Questions is as follow:
1) Generator does not run a full day after powering, so how many yields I'll get if I do not restart generator once it's done?
2) What is happening when facility require power,and perform action, but generator is out of fuel? Progress is lost?

Wow, that is totally intuitive mechanic that is absolutely not bullsheit.
Is there in-game clock or something, how I am supposed to know when to activate these? ._.
No in game clock afaik, use the sun I guess :/

Not sure why there is no option to auto refill the in-base generators, that's just silly, your power and water outposts are auto running all day all week, I don't see why it could not be the same for in-base generators.

so i guess they choosed the more, safe option

Outposts that give power (and water) will literally suck your fuel dry, but they are always on by default, can't be turned off even.
This is just bad design.
Outpost should have on/off button, generator should work the same way, and both facilities should function until the next reward time once powered, instead of "X minutes on".
Yeah, making it an option to turn auto refill on and off would do it for everyone and yeah, that should be the case for outposts too IMO.
