this is why you always make a copy of the save file

save files that become corrupted do not save a copy of them

just start a new community

Like i said i cant even get inside the game. I cannot view the main option such as to choose Legacy (Single Play), Heartland (Campaign) & Daybreak main screen. The only for me is to quit the game. This "Corruption Detected in Local Save Files" screen do not let me get go to the main screen. I've tried copy/backup my saved files in App Data, uninstall the game then re-install back everything same results. I thought save files would be forever immortal in the Microsoft Game Cloud Server?

so you are able to get into the games main menu screen then.

you saved a copy of that save file which is corrupted? If so delete it as it is no longer usable

If so then that is your issue right there.

That save file needs to be deleted and a whole fresh new community needs to be started.





Run a file verification on the game

If none of that works

go look at reddit if none of that works

contact game support through reddit or their website.



just try and look for answers yourself type in the search engine etc

The game is going through some major issues


but if you are using any mods or have used an editor that might be one of the issues.

if you are using any mods or editors you need to be honest


cause if that is the case you are on your own as no one can help with this issue

You want player to player support but most of the time there isn't enough information

to help anyone out on steam this place is very toxic and i am getting really bored with it

actually mr. Z, i've given a best solution by the U. Labs Dev themselve & it works! You just need to disable Auto-Save to Cloud in your Steam then delete or move completely to other place (just in case you capable of salvaging surviving save data) then just simply start the game. WARNING: You might lose all your save before & all your survivors community but not your achievement so far. I know its painful still better than you're not playing. Good luch have fun
