How do I disable Curveballs.
They say it is Dormant in the Curveball menu but they are spawning in my game. I have shot 3 of them and Checked my settings each time and I do not see an option in Gameplay.

I don't want Curveballs.

The option should be in settings, gameplay then about the 6th option down. You have to do the first two curveballs though for it to appear in the gameplay menu though.

I would suggest setting the difficulty to green to do the tutorial and curveball events. Makes it easier to get past. A shotgun and molotov's to take down the lone raider.

Once done you should be able to disable the curveball events in the gameplay menu. Then put the difficulty back to what you're comfortable with.

Hope that helps, I feel your pain.

Uninstall the game. I think green zone doesn't have it but I might be wrong.
when playing the game hit Esc and its in settings gameplay 6th option. it doesn't appear from main menu settings, idk why, probably its community connected. Even with that off current curveballs will stay so good luck

The option to turn them on or off doesn't appear right away when starting a new community. I think it takes a day or so. Unfortunately, in my experience, there are curveballs active on day 0.
It might vary per difficulty though.

That is some bad design. UGH.

I was already struggling to get back in the game. First community randomed into Trumbel and quit when escorting Ray to the Clinic and tried a PH unprepared.

This new community was actually going well (Day 4) but you that feeling when you are engaged and having fun.....yeah I didn't have that.

I think Bailing and uninstalling might be best.
