Yes, it just requires some practice and careful resource management. Still haven't managed it myself. I'd suggest looking through some guides for tips if you're struggling.

Yeah, easily. You need to pick up the right weapons and place explosives/save ammo for the end. Playing with trolls or ammo hogging randoms is super annoying. Not to mention the hackers with unlimited resources. Play a few times, use the guide - you can do it

You can but it's not easy, I've only managed to do it a few times. Wave 5 and 6 are the worst by far. The main difficulty are breaches, without other players pulling their weight it's quite hard to defend the entire wall and if there is a breach is quite hard to repair it. You also have to be on point with consumable uses, especially with the remote rocket pods, if you mess one up it's probably game over.

It is absolutly possible, just some hours of trying with guides (good people posted them already) and you could do it reliably. The main thing that makes it from hard to normal is getting cleo weapon to start with, and from normal to easy - getting first cleo shotgun and than a rifle(s). They are just superior in terms of ammo and cleaning.
